This linear out-and-back route begins at the Monastery of Leyre. The trail leads to the San Virila Spring, a site linked to the legend of Abbot Virila, who tradition says fell into a deep sleep while listening to a nightingale and woke up centuries later. The trail runs through a forest of holm oaks, pines, and gall oaks, with gentle inclines accessible to everyone.
